This is my new created robot, its name is Wheely Hero. It has a round head, two little hands, a tiny body and two legs which rolls like wheels. The Wheely Hero is very attractive and colourful, what's more is that it has many function. Firstly, it can help me to do housework for me. Secondly, the robot can sent me to school and work everyday on time. Thirdly, the robot can make food for me to eat ... The only problem is that Wheely Hero need many electricity to support it, but I solve problem by adding a solar system. I am very proud of my robot.

my name is Lin Tao. I always have a dream to own a robot in 2008 named Superman. It will be a product of AI(artificial intelligence) and it can do so many things for me, including helping me with all of my housework, especially cleaning the floor which i hate to do most. It could cook the meals anytime for my family. It could send me to school and fetch me from school instead of my parents. added up to all, it could also be my teachers, teaching me English and Math! What an assume robot it will be! With the breakthrough of technology, i strongly believe that my dream will come true oneday.


Have you ever thought about the life with robots in the next 50 or 100 years?

1、Some people think when we read we should read selectively. That is to say, we should select some books we are interested in and ignore the others. Reading selectively can help us concentrate our limited time and attention on those selected books. 
  Others think we should read extensively. No matter what kind of book it is, we should look it over. We should read various kinds of books, whether we are interested in them or not. They maintain that reading extensively can help to enlarge our view and grasp the general knowledge in different fields. 
  In my opinion, the two reading ways have their roles respectively in our reading. However, the disadvantages of each methods are easy to see. If we only read the books we select or prefer, the framework of our knowledge may not be complete. Our knowledge would be rather limited. And if we read without selection, we may not have so much time and energy to be specialized in one particular field. Therefore, the combination of the two methods is more reasonable.

           Should Children Send Their Parents to Gerocomium?
       Today,it is widely acknowledge that the adult children should take good care of the old parents in their twilight years so that they can enjoy comforts.Therefore,many children send their parents to gerocomium for the sake of ensuring their parents's eating and drinking.However,as for this phenomenon,people's ideas very.
       Some people insist that they are far away from their parents so it is almost impossiable to live with their parents no more than look after them.They also say their parents can't adopt to their life-style .However,many other children do not agree.They say they used to stay at home with thire parents ,and they understand their parents better than any other alse.They also list some important factors that the gerocomium is good for their parents such as the living environment or the facilities. 
       From my perspective,it is not necessarily sensible for children to send their parents to  gerocomium .On one hand, the old men all need somebody we can turn to,but on the other hand,The filial piety is a kind of traditional virtue of Chinese nation.What's more,as we konw,some parents are forces to ferocomium which makes it unhappy for them.

English is becoming more and more important under the trend of globalization, especially for us who often need to read a number of academic thesis in English and will work in the filed of IT finally.  

However, my English is not as good as I wish it were actually. I have learned English for over ten years, but focus the most time and energy on preparing for English exam, so that I didn’t grasp how to use English really.

In my opinion, there are several reasons as following. Firstly, I can’t stick to learning English by myself. To tell the truth, I spent little time learning English unless there is an English examination. Secondly, I have no opportunity to talk with other people in English, and it’s seemed that there is no use of English in my life except passing the examination before I become a postgraduate.

The present situation already differed from the before, I should read plenty of academic paper in English to get more information and knowledge in my research field. It’s heard that we should always communicate with foreign consumers and partners in English in the work. Therefore, it’s urgent for me to take efforts to improve my English. I will write no less than one piece of English blog each week on average and do more other practice to improve my English listening, speaking, reading, writing skill. 

I firmly believe that I’ll master English freely by my hard work and persistence in the near future.
